PFS3 compared to other filesystems
This was a practise test performed in the shell on an A4000/040 with an
IDE Quantum Maverick 540. Each number is in seconds and is an average of
the same test performed several times. When using more files, the
distance between PFS2 and SFS and FFS will be even greater, just like
when using SCSI. All tests were done under exactly the same circumstances.
