The Ricoh MediaMaster enables 2x and 4x recording onto CD-R and CD-RW media and up to 20x max read times, a multi-function drive that makes single-function CD-ROM drives obsolete. Additionally the drive allows users to create CDs that are readable on CD-ROM or second-generation DVD-ROM drives, providing a path to future technologies.
