The package includes 1 IDE adapter cable and 1 power cable. The IDE cable allows you to connect a 3.5" hard drive to the 2.5" IDE header in either an A1200 or A600 computer. The cable is 12" long allowing for flexibility in its placement in the A1200/ A600. The power cable replaces the existing power cable in the A1200/A600 that connects the power connector of the floppy drive to the motherboard. Our power cable is in a "Y" configuration allowing for a connector to the motherboard, the floppy drive and a 3.5" hard drive. The A1200/A600 3.5" Hard Drive Adapter does not void any warranties as neither the case of metal shielding is modified when installing appropriately sized drives. We recommend installing a Quantum Trailblazer series, Seagate medalist series (is the thinnest and shortest 3.5" drive we've seen), or similar small drive.
